The route starts at Bang Khun Non Station, which serves as an interchange with the MRT Blue Line Bang Sue - Tha Phra section (Bang Khun Non Station) and the SRT Red Line (Taling Chan - Siriraj section, Charan Sanitwong Station). The Orange Line project is an underground structure running along the original railway alignment, passing under the Chao Phraya River along to Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge. It then passes Sanam Luang, goes under Ratchadamnoen Road, Democracy Monument, and then slide along Lan Luang Road until Yommarat Intersection. It turns right onto Phetchaburi Road until Pratunam Intersection, then turns left, passing under to Ratchaprarop Road. From there, it turns right onto Din Daeng Road, turns left onto Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, slide right past Bangkok City Hall 2, passes through Prachasongkhro community, The route terminates at Thailand Cultural Centre Station, which is a joint station for both the Orange Line and Blue Line projects.
