The route starts at Tao Poon Station (an elevated station), which is an interchange station for both the MRT Chalong Ratchadham Line and the MRT Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line. The route then crosses Khlong Bang Sue as an elevated structure before descending to an underground structure, passing under the Ordnance Department, Royal Thai Army. It then turns right to follow Thahan Road in the area of the Air Defence Division. The route passes Kiak Kai Intersection and enters Sam Sen Road, passing the New Parliament House, Rajinibon School, the Royal Irrigation Department, Vajira Hospital, the National Library, and Khlong Bang Lamphu. It then turns left onto Phra Sumen Road, passing Wat Bowonniwetwiiharn and Ratchadamnoen Klang Road before entering Maha Chai Road. The line then passes Wat Ratchanatdaram and Rommani Nat Park. The route enters Chakkraphet Road and passes under the Chao Phraya River near Phra Pokklao Bridge. It then enters Prajathipok Road, passes Ban Khaek Intersection, goes under Wongwian Yai, and enters Somdet Phra Chao Tak Sin Road, passing Somdet Prapinklao Hospital and going under Mahai Sawan Intersection. Then, the structure changes to an elevated structure that runs along Suksawat Road. It passes Dao Khanong Intersection, Bang Pakaeo Intersection, and Pracha Uthit Intersection, crosses the Chalerm Mahanakorn Expressway, and passes Phra Pradaeng Intersection before ending at Khru Nai.

Depot and Park&Ride Building
