MRTA holds the 33rd anniversary celebration event
On
August 21, 2025, Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) held the 33rd anniversary
celebration event at MRTA. The event began with a ceremony
to pay homage to Thao Maha Phrom and the guardian spirits of the land, and the royal portraits
of King Rama V, King Rama IX and King Rama X, followed by the morning merit-making ceremony, which was led by Mr. Gardphajon Udomdhammabhakdi, Governor of the
MRTA and attended by MRTA executives and officers.
On
this occasion, MRTA also held a ceremony to present certificates of royal
decorations for the years 2022 - 2023; souvenirs
to employees who had completed 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service with MRTA;
80 scholarships to the children of MRTA employees and students from schools
along the MRT lines who demonstrated academic excellence
and good conduct; and awards to outstanding employees, winners of the RAPID Mascot Contest, and
winners of the Co-working Space and 5-Sor
contests to honor the recipients and boost morale.....

On August 21, 2023,
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) held an event to celebrate the 31st anniversary
of the establishment. Mr. Pakapong
Sirikantaramas, MRTA Governor and MRTA executives welcomed representatives of
organizations celebrating MRTA and donating money for Children's Hospital
Foundation at Building 1, MRTA Head Office, Rama 9 Road, Huai Khwang, Bangkok.
On this special occasion, MRTA held the event to celebrate the 31st anniversary under the theme “Widen Your
World”, expressing MRTA’s vision “Elevate urbanization within the transportation network and
create innovation for a sustainable future” to show that
MRTA places the important on expanding MRT network and transfer systems
systematically by adopting innovation and technology to implementations,
especially, MRT projects implementation which is the core business of MRTA, in
line with paying attention to environment, community, and society by considering
the impact on all.....
