Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
organized a customer relations activity “Customer Care Day
2024” with the concept “MRTA: Just the way You Are” for supporting the
way you are and supporting travel by MRT through activities, including giving
away MRT Plus cards with a travel value of 200 baht (limited
quantity) and giving away other souvenirs to customers who
use the M.R.T. Chalong
Ratchadham Line (MRT Purple Line) such
as 200 pieces of colorful cloth bags, 100 folding umbrellas, and 100 keychains
with raincoats at the platform area, 4th floor,
Tao Poon Station.
Such
an activity is part of the project to provide benefits and activities to
promote the use MRT services to help promote good relationships between MRTA
and customer groups. MRTA provides a variety of benefits
and activities that are consistent with consumer behavior to meet the needs and
expectations of MRTA's important stakeholder groups, as well as to promote
environmentally.....
MRTA receives a certificate of honor for being a good example of enterprise with drug problem management on the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day 2024
Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), represented by Mr. Teerachai
Tuanim, Director of Occupational Safety Health and Environment Office received
a certificate of honor for being a good role model in managing drug problems on
the occasion of “World Anti-Drug Day
2024” which was held under the concept of uniting Thai
power for creating families and communities free from the dangers of drugs to
celebrate His Majesty the King's 72nd Birthday,
at Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The
event was presided over by Mrs. Sopa Kiatniracha, Director-General of Department of Labour Protection and Welfare.
MRTA has implemented the standard system for
preventing and solving drug problems in enterprise until passing the evaluation
criteria in fiscal year 2023. MRTA is aware of and gives
importance to operations to prevent and solve drug problems and also campaigns
for drug prevention within the organization and surrounding communities along
the MRT lines to.....

MRTA attends the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation on SOOK ASOK
On
April 3, 2024, Miss Jiranan Vorachak, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on
behalf of MRTA, participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of
Cooperation on SOOK ASOK and received the certificate of appreciation for
supporting SOOK ASOK network, from Mr. Chadchart
Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok at Asok-Montri Music and
Performing Arts Hall, Floor 4, Prof. Dr. Saroj
Buasri Innovation Building, Srinakharinwirot University.
SOOK
ASOK is a grouping of government and private sector organizations which are
located in Asoke area, initiated by Srinakharinwirot University and Kiatnakin
Phatra Financial Business Group, to work together to develop Asoke area to be
livable in 4 areas: way of life, transport, activity, and
environment, through operations to promote, support and integrate resources in
the form of plans/projects/activities
to develop Asoke area to be livable and enhance quality of life of people.

On
April 2, 2024, Miss Jiranan Vorachak, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA) together
with officers of Department of Operations of MRTA and Bangkok Expressway and
Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) welcomed
the Senate Standing Committee on
Transportation, led by Gen. Yodyuth Boonyatikarn, Chairman
of the Committee to Wat Mangkon Station, The M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line for study
visit to follow up the progress of the commercial development around the
station. MRTA has included the goal of development of area
in mass rapid transit network along with sustainable urban development under
the principles of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), in the MRTA Corporate Plan Fiscal
Years 2023 – 2027. MRTA focuses on
using the station as transport hub and developing the surrounding area for
maximum benefit for the community members and business in seeking sustainable
income and supporting the growth of future cities.

March 15, 2024, Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and Dr. Kanrawee
Thongpull, Vice President Acting President of Rail Technology Research and Development
Agency (RTRDA) signed a Memorandum of
Understanding on promoting and supporting research and development of
railway technology to enhance technological capabilities and create a national
industry, at Meeting Room 1, Building 1, MRTA.

Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the
Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Mr. Yohann
Levasseur Managing Director of Alstom (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Miss
Walaiporn Leelawannee, Director of Alstom (Thailand) Co., Ltd., signed a
Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding on developing knowledge and innovation
in mass rapid transit, at Meeting Room 1, Building 1, MRTA.
MRTA carries out annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills 2024
On
February 23, 2024, Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand or MRTA carried out
annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills
2024 by setting a stimulated real fire situation and earthquake situation where
the staff who were in the evacuation team could proceed to handle the situation
following the emergency plan. MRTA conducts the basic
firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills at least once a
year to prepare executives, officers, and employees for handling the real
emergency case effectively.

(Operations) of Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand or MRTA and
representatives of Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) welcomed Mr. Surin
Kaekhunthod, President of the Education and Quality of
Life of the Blind Promotes Foundation and Mr.
Adirek Chingchai, President of the General Service
Center of the Association Assembly of the Blind for Occupation Promotion, who
came to discuss and exchange opinions of the visually impaired regarding their
travel experiences on the MRT system. In the view of the
foundation, the mass transit system responds well to the lifestyles of the
visually impaired users.....
