MRTA organizes 32nd establishment anniversary activity.
Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations) acting Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over MRTA 32nd establishment
anniversary activity leading MRTA executives to participate in paying
homage to sacred things in MRTA office ceremony and welcomed Mr. Sorapong
Paitoonphong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport (MOT) to preside over Buddhist chanting
ceremony and 63 representatives from business partners to congratulate MRTA on
Wednesday 21st August 2024 at MRTA head office. In this regard, Mr.
Vithaya also presided over 40 scholarships award ceremony for students from
schools along the route of M.R.T. projects and MRTA officers’ children.

MRTA organizes Go Green, Grow Together activity giving air – purifying plants to officers and employees
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized Go Green, Grow Together
activity in occasion of 32nd establishment anniversary giving 500
clay pots for painting and air – purifying plants to officers and employees to plant
on Thursday 22nd August 2024. The activity was held in order to endorse “Go Green, Grow Together” concept concerning
MRTA environmentally friendly operations through Green Construction, Green
Transportation, Green Office and Green Society concept.

MRTA organizes “Celebrating 32nd anniversary, Improve air quality with MRTA” activity in occasion of 32nd establishment anniversary
Miss Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of
Corporate Communications of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over “Celebrating 32nd
anniversary, Improve air quality with MRTA” activity in
occasion of 32nd establishment anniversary on Wednesday 28th
August 2024. The activity included distributed 3,200 seedlings including Silver
trumpet seedlings, Yellow elder seedlings, Horse Bush seedlings and Thailand
rosewood seedlings to MRT passengers and park and ride building users at 7 MRT
park and ride buildings including Lat Phrao station, Thailand Cultural Centre
station, Lak Song station, Khlong Bang Phai station, Sam Yeak Bang Yai station,
Bang Rak Noi Tha It station and Yaek Nonthaburi 1 station. This activity was
held in order to encourage people to plant trees to increase green area in
urban communities, improve quality of life and quality of environment.

received G – Green (Silver) award
from Green Office Project of 2024 on very good level from Department of Climate
Change and Environment (DCCE),
Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) on Thursday 29 August 2024 at Rama Gardens Hotel where Mr.
Jatuporn Buruspat, MNRE Permanent Secretary was a giver.
MRTA has set the policies
and planned on environmental operations in organizations, communicated and
created environmental awareness to executives and officers. MRTA also has have
well management on resources, energy, waste management, safety and environment
and green procurement.

MRTA participates in the opening ceremony of MOT Games 2024 at PAT ARENA
Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations) acting Governor of Mass Rapid
Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) led
MRTA executives and officers to participate in the opening ceremony of MOT
Games 2024 on Monday 2nd September 2024 at PAT ARENA where Mr.
Chayatan Promsorn, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport (MOT) presided over the ceremony.
MOT Games 2024 was held for
the first time to strengthen relationship between officers under MOT. The
competition took place between 2nd – 6th September 2024
dividing organizations into 4 teams color: red, yellow, blue and purple. MRTA
was assigned to be in purple team with Department of Rural Roads, The Transport
Co., Ltd., Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Co., Ltd. and Bangkok Mass transit
Authority.

MRTA and business partners deliver relief bags to flood victims
Mr. Vithaya Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations) acting Governor of Mass Rapid
Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) led
MRTA executives, officers and representatives from business partners, MRT
projects concessionaires, operators and contractors to deliver 2,110
relief bags to Royal Thai Navy to distribute to flood victims with in
the country on Thursday 5th September 2024 where Vice Admiral
Pasugree Wilairuk, Director General of the Naval Civil Affairs Department was a
receiver. Therefore, the relief bags including essential items and consumer
items supported by MRTA and business partners where MRTA volunteers prepared
all relief bags.
At a later time, Miss
Jiranan Worachack, Assistant Governor on behalf of MRTA distributed relief bags
to flood victims in Rang Chorakhe Sub-District, Sena District, Ayutthaya
Province on Tuesday 10th September 2024 where Vice Admiral.....

Mrs. Natamon Bunnak, Deputy Governor (Finance) of Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
presided over Giving Alms activity of September 2024 leading executives,
officers and employee to participate in the activity on Friday 6th September
2024 at meeting room 2, 9th floor, building 1 where MRTA invited 9
Buddhist monks from Praram 9 Kanchanapisek to have breakfast and receive alms.

MRTA participates in MOT Games 2024
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) sent MRTA athletes to compete in MOT Games 2024, the sport
competition between organizations under Ministry of Transport (MOT) during 2nd – 6th September 2024 where
MRTA was assigned in Purple team with Department of Rural Roads, Bangkok Mass
transit Authority, The Transport Co., Ltd. and Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Co.,
Ltd.
The result of the
competition, Purple team got MOT Games winner trophy and futsal, billiards,
petanque and funny games competitions. MRTA also got 1 gold medal from table
tennis women’s doubles, 2 silver medals from badminton men’s doubles 80 years
old plus and 90 years old plus and 10 bronze medals from table tennis woman
single (2 medals), mixed doubles, men
team and woman team and badminton men doubles 100 years old plus, 110 years old
plus, general age, women doubles general age and mixed doubles general age.

Internal Audit on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated Royal Forest Department on the occasion of 128th
establishment anniversary on Wednesday 18th September
2024 at Royal Forest Department office. In this regard, MRTA contributed to their
welfare fund where Mr. Nikorn

World Car Free Day 2024 (22nd September 2024) by giving 1,000 seedling plants including Mahogany, Thai
Bamboo, Phayung, Yellow Trumpetbush and Siamese cassia from MOT planting trees
project in occasion of H.M. the king 6th cycle birthday on 28th July 2024 and
MRTA souvenirs to MRT passengers on Sunday 22nd September 2024 at Kamphaeng
Phet Station.
In addition, MRTA
campaigned officers and employees to use public transportation to work on
Friday 20th September 2024.

Green Office project 2024 and the result of 3rd Green Office Hero
group’s MRTA officers behavior changing projects.
The result of Green
Office Hero 2024 project included 1. Selecting 25 MRTA officers to be 3rd
Green Office Hero Group to learn about waste management in organization from
lecturers and other organizations and organize campaigning projects contest on
4 projects including 1. Reduce plastic bags project 2. Reusable
glass using project 3. Knowledge on global warming project and 4. Sorting waste
project where the vote result from MRTA officers made Reusable glass using
project the winner of.....
