MRTA organizes Eco Transportations activity thanking passengers for using public transport on World Car Free Day 2024

MRTA officers to organize Eco
Transportations activity thanking passengers for using public transport on
World Car Free Day 2024 (22nd September 2024) by giving 1,000 seedling plants including Mahogany, Thai
Bamboo, Phayung, Yellow Trumpetbush and Siamese cassia from MOT planting trees
project in occasion of H.M. the king 6th cycle birthday on 28th July 2024 and
MRTA souvenirs to MRT passengers on Sunday 22nd September 2024 at Kamphaeng
Phet Station.
In addition, MRTA
campaigned officers and employees to use public transportation to work on
Friday 20th September 2024.

New Year Day 2024 on Monday 1st January 2024 at Sahathai Pavillion,
the Grand Palace where Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Transport led
executives and head of organizations under Ministry of Transport (MOT) participate in the sign.

of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in Ministry of Transport (MOT)’s giving alms activity and paid homage to MOT’s Buddha statue
and sacred spirit in occasion of New Year Day 2024 on Wednesday 3rd
January 2024 in front of MOT head office where Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit,
Minister of Transport led executives and head of
organizations under MOT participate in the sign.

MRTA organizes Giving Alms activity in occasion of New Year Day 2024
Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor
of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over Giving Alms activity in occasion of New Year Day
2024 on Friday 5th January 2024. The activities included paying
homage to sacred things in MRTA office and inviting 9 Buddhist monks from
Praram 9 Kanchanapisek temple to have breakfast and receive alms (snacks,
toys and stationaries) from MRTA directors, executives,
officers and employees. The alms would be sent to Bueng Praram 9 Pattana community
for National Children’s day.

MRTA congratulates NT on the occasion of 3rd establishment anniversary.
Mr. Baramin Chareanpanich, Director
of Construction Management Department 1 on
behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated National Telecom PLC (NT) on the occasion of 3rd establishment
anniversary on Friday 5th January 2024 at NT’s head office. In this
regard, MRTA contributed to Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement under Royal
Patronage (TRRM) on Taejai project (TAEJAI002) for endangered sea turtles where
Mr. Nattaphon Natthasomboon, NT’s
Committee President was a receiver.
MRTA gives plastic bottle caps to Qualy, product designed brand from recycle materials
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) gave 28 kilograms of plastic bottle
caps from MRTA 3R activity, Green Office Project of 2023 to Qualy,
product designed brand from recycle materials to
use as product materials instead of discarding as wastes
on Wednesday 10th January 2024 at Qualy Design Space. Therefore,
MRTA organized MRTA 3R activity encouraging waste sorting in organization to raise
consciousness on saving energy, reduce greenhouse gas emission, reduce waste
and use resource efficiently where the plastic bottles would be separated in 2
parts. The bottles would be given to Chara Recycle Project, Mirror Foundation
to sell for money to old peoples in the project and bottle caps would be given
to Qualy to use as product materials.

MRTA organizes Children’s Day activity of 2024
Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organizes
Children’s Day activity of 2024 on Saturday 13th January 2024 at Phahon
Yothin station, M.R.T. Chaleom Ratchamongkhon line. There
were many activities including K-9 show from MRTA Security and Rescue
Department, Bozo clown balloon twisting, fancy face painting, Game booths and give away gifts where Miss
Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of Corporate Communications presided
over the activities.
Therefore, MRTA organizes Children’s
Day activity every year near places along the route of M.R.T. Projects to
strengthen relationship between MRTA, youth and people.

MRTA congratulates DMR on the occasion of 132nd establishment anniversary.
Mrs. Raveewan Phongsupatsamit,
Director of M&E System Department on
behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated Department of Mineral
Resources (DMR) on the occasion of 132nd
establishment anniversary on Wednesday 17th January 2024 at DMR’s
office. In this regard, MRTA contributed to DMR welfare fund for public charity
organization and foundation donation where Mr. Pichit Sombatmak,
DMR’s Director General was a receiver.

of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed teachers and 45 Grade 5 students from Praram 9
Kanchanapisek school to visit MRTA Learning Center and watch K-9 show from MRTA
Security and Rescue Department on Tuesday 30th January 2024.
MRTA Learning Center was built to
collect M.R.T.’s knowledge including history, work procession, design and
construction technique and operation and maintenance. In addition, the center
would be use as a place to present and promote M.R.T. technology in Thailand to
the public.

MRTA organizes Listen to the Sermon activity by Phra Alongkot Tikkapanyo, Phrabatnampu temple.
Mr. Nuttapong Songpracha, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over Listen to Sermon
activity by Phra Alongkot Tikkapanyo, Phrabatnampu temple, Lop Buri Province
and led MRTA executives, officers and employees to participate in the activity
on Thursday 14th March 2024 at meeting room 2, 9th floor,
building 1, MRTA. In this regard, MRTA donated 100,000 Baht and invited MRTA
executives, officers and employees to donate money and necessary things for
needy people to Phrabatnampu temple.

MRTA receives Letter of Recognition from LESS project of 2024 from Green Office project for 4 years continuously.
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of
Thailand (MRTA) received Letter of
Recognition (LOR) from Low Emission
Support Scheme (LESS) project of 2024 of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public
Organization), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment from organizing
MRTA 3R activity, Green Office project between April – September 2023. The
activity decreased greenhouse gas by promote sorting plastic bottles waste in
organization totally 1,543.48 Kilograms equal to 1.591 tons of CO2
equivalent.
Therefore, MRTA receives
this honor for 4 years continuously representing the organization awareness of
energy conservation that leading to sustainable development.
