MRTA joins hands with ACU PAY to add payment channels and provide benefits to MRT Purple Line passengers from today until 31 December 2025
On January 13, 2025, Ms. Natamon Bunnak, Deputy Governor (Finance) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), along with Ms. Yang Yuanyuan, President of ACU PAY (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Rongnarong Sasipongpan, CEO of ACU PAY (Thailand) Co., Ltd., took a group photo jointly to launch the payment service via the ACU PAY Application at Tao Poon Station, the M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham Line (MRT Purple Line).MRTA has signed a memorandum of agreement with ACU PAY (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to be a partner in the fare card business for the provision of the payment service and marketing activities to MRT Purple Line passengers at all stations from today through until December 31, 2025.

MRTA organizes MRTA Customer Care Day activity, giving away oranges on the occasion of Chinese New Year 2025
Mr. Yuthasak Chuenjai,
Director of Business Development Department on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated
in the MRTA Customer Care Day activity. This year's
activity was organized in a Troop format, joining in a troop to give away more
than 600 auspicious oranges (300 sets). As
oranges are a symbol of luck and fortune, MRTA gave the
oranges as auspicious gifts to MRT passengers and tenants of MRTA commercial
spaces. The troop started the activity at Wong Sawang
Station and Tao Poon Station of the M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham Line and moved to the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line at Lat
Phrao Station, Sukhumvit Station, and Wat Mangkon Station.

Nakthoranin, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on behalf of MRTA, welcomed a
delegation from the Embassy of India, Bangkok – Thailand,
led by Mrs. Paulomi Tripathi, Deputy Chief of Mission on
the occasion of attending the meeting to discuss the possibility of cooperation
and exchange experiences that will be beneficial to MRTA’s
MRT operations in the future, at Meeting Room 1, 9th Floor, Building 1, MRTA.

President of Operation Group, Seacon Development Plc.
The
Deputy Minister said that the Ministry of Transport has combined the forces of
government and private agencies to connect the mass rapid transit.....
MRTA organizes annual basic firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills 2025
On February 21, 2025, Mass Rapid Transit Authority
of Thailand or MRTA organized the 2025 annual basic
firefighting training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills by stimulating fire situation and earthquake situation where the staff who
were in the evacuation team could proceed to handle the situations following an
emergency plan. MRTA conducts the basic firefighting
training and fire and earthquake evacuation drills at least once a year to
prepare executives, officers, and employees for handling the real emergency
case effectively.
MRTA and CITU sign MOU for developing rail transport system
Mr. Vithaya
Punmongkol, Deputy Governor (Operations),
Acting Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and Asst. Prof. Chayakrit
Asvathitanont, Dean of College of Innovation, Thammasat University (CITU) signed the Memorandum of
Understanding to carry out academic activities and to promote research,
knowledge development, and potential development.
Throughout the period of the MOU, both agencies
will cooperate and perform their duties to the best of their abilities to
develop the rail transport system to be efficiently, enhance technological
capabilities, and create national industries.
MRTA welcomes a delegation from TISTR
Mr. Yuthasak Chuenjai,
Director of Business Development Department, on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA),
together with representatives of Policy and Strategy Department, Human
Resources Department, and Business Development Department welcomed
a delegation of management and staff of Thailand Institute
of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), led by Mr. Piya Parnphumeesup, Director
of Division of Planning and Strategy to a study visit on the implementation of State Enterprise Assessment Model: Enabler 4 - Stakeholder and customer
management at Meeting Room 3, Building 1, MRTA. The
executives of MRTA and TISTR exchanged knowledge and experience that will be
beneficial for both in terms of personnel knowledge and
organizational operation development on stakeholder and
customer management.
