MRTA supports surgical masks to MOT’s PR division to distribute to people at Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) gave 1,500 surgical masks to Ministry of Transportation (MOT)’s PR Division to distribute to people at Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal to promote public images of MOT on Friday 21st February 2020 at MOT head office. The distribution was held on the part of MOT’s Office of Permanent Secretary PR seminar between 28th February – 1st March 2020 at MOT head quarter and Kanchanaburi Province.
MRTA welcomes teachers and students from Wat Bang Rak Yai school visiting M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon and Chalong Ratchadham Line           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed 114 teachers and primary students from Wat Bang Rak Yai school visiting and riding M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon and Chalong Ratchadham Line from Bang Rak Yai station to Sanam Chai station on Wednesday 23rd September 2020. This activity was part of “M.R.T. Riding with P’Tunjai” project 2020 in order to enhance children M.R.T. riding experience and to support learning and equality.
MRTA congratulates SRTET on 9th establishment anniversary      Mr. Sarot T. Suwan, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated SRT Electrified Train Co., Ltd. (SRTET) on 9th establishment anniversary on Friday 21st February 2020 at Airport Rail link, Makkasan station. In this regard, MRTA also donated to Foundation for the Welfare of The Crippled under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness The Princess Mother where Mr. Suthep Panpeng, Director-General of SRTET was the receiver.
MRTA participates in World Maritime day 2020 activity           Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in World Maritime day 2020 activity on Thursday 24th September 2020 at Merchant Marine Training Centre, Samut Prakarn Province where Mr. Artirat Ratanasate, Deputy Minister of Transport presided over the ceremony.
MRTA promotes income of communities along the route of MRT Project organizing MRT Market for local products      Mr. Surachet Laophulsuk, Deputy Governor (Engineering and Construction) of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over the opening ceremony of MRTA Market where representatives from Min Buri district, Khan Na Yao district and Mr. Chaiwat Chanpong, Assistant Managing Director from Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC (BEM) attended the ceremony on Monday 24th February 2020. MRTA Market was held in order to increase income for communities along the route of MRT Projects and to strengthen relationship between MRTA, communities and stakeholders.     Therefore, MRTA coordinated with Min Buri district and Khan Na Yao district to bring local products from 25 shops along the route of MRT Orange Line Project (East): Thailand Cultural Center – Min Buri such as Thai foods, herbs, house wares and etc. to sell at MRT Market between 24th – 28th February 2020 at 8.00 A.M. – 08.00 P.M. at the area in front of park & ride building, MRT.....
MRTA organizes Green Office 2020 project           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized Green Office 2020 project between July – September 2020 in order to enhance MRTA officers environmental protection knowledge and to reduce internal resources consumption. The project was conducted by letting MRTA executives and officers give used plastic bottles to selected recycle bins which represented 3 charity foundations along the route of MRT projects including Home for Handicapped Animals Foundation (MRT Pink line project: Kaerai – Min Buri), Ban Bang Khae Social Welfare Development Center for Older Persons (MRT Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line) and Min Buri Learning & Rehabilitation Center for Special Needs Children (MRT Orange line project: Thailand Cultural Center – Min Buri). The charity foundations with the most bottles would receive donation from MRTA 100,000 Baht, 60,000 Baht and 40,000 Baht orderly.          The project concluded with 1,475 bottles.....
MRTA congratulates TOT on establishment anniversary      Mr. Kittikorn Tanpao, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated and gave congratulations flowers to TOT PLC on establishment anniversary on Monday 24th February 2020 at TOT head office where Mr. Pipat Khantong, Director acting Chief Executive Director was the receiver.
MRTA organized 1st “Our Home season 4” project of year 2020      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized 1st “Our Home season 4” project of year 2020 at Mahaweeranuwat school on Friday 31st July 2020 to educate students the new normal way of life and the safe way to travel by metro after Coronavirus 2019 (COVID - 19) pandemic period. In this regard, MRTA distributed face masks and souvenirs to teachers and students and MRTA also made students from Mahaweeranuwat school write well – wishing postcards to students from Watparknam school.     This project was held in order to made Mahaweeranuwat school which is school along the route of M.R.T. Chalerm Ratchamongkol line and Watparknam school which is school along the route of M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham line have the activities together, to strengthen their relationship between students in school along the route of M.R.T. and to strengthen relationship between schools and MRTA.
MRTA flea market of March 2020      Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA flea market of March 2020 at the walkway beside cafeteria, building 1, MRTA on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 from 11.30 AM to 01.00 PM where there were 7 MRTA officers’ shops selling various goods such as foods, beverage and house wares etc.     The flea market was held monthly in order to enhance friendship between MRTA employees and to help them increasing revenue.
MRTA 3rd Blood Donation activity 2020           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society organized MRTA 3rd Blood Donation activity 2020 on Friday 7th August 2020 in front of building 1, MRTA where 213 MRTA’s officers and employees, Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC’s officers, contractors and project assistants joined this activity by donating blood.
MRTA organized giving alms activity of March 2020     Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized giving alms activity of March 2020 inviting 9 Buddhist Monks from Praram 9 Kanchanapisek temple to have breakfast and receive dried food from MRTA executives and employees on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at main lobby, 1st floor, building 1, MRTA.
