MRTA attends Chak Phra tradition 2016 at Nang Chee Chotikaram temple MRTA attends Chak Phra tradition 2016 at Nang Chee Chotikaram temple           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and M.R.T. Blue line extension Hua Lamphong – Bang Khae and Bang Sue – Tha Phra project’s Consultant led 60 MRTA officers attending Chak Phra tradition at Nang Chee Chotikaram temple, Phasi Charoen district, Bangkok on Wednesday 16th November 2016. MRTA also arranged 2 boats to join in Buddha’s relic’s procession with the temple and nearby people in Chak Phra canal.          MRTA attended the activity in order to strengthen relationship between MRTA and community along the route of M.R.T. project and to support local tradition.
The fire prevention project of 2016 (MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan)   The fire prevention project of 2016 (MRT Green Line project Bearing-Samut Prakan)             Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized a project on fire prevention of 2016 starting with Yuli and Kantasiri Communities, which are near Royal Thai Naval Academy station, MRT Green Line Project Bearing-Samut Prakan on Saturday 30th April 2016.             This project was held to train people on the self-use of fire extinguishers to prevent spread of fire in the communities along the route of MRT Green Line Project Bearing-Samut Prakan and Mo chit-Saphan Mai-Kukot. A total of 20 communities were trained during the project.

Songkran festival 2016 MRTA organized an internal event celebrating Songkran festival 2016             Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized an internal event celebrating Songkran festival 2016 on Friday 8th April 2016 in Meeting Room 2 on 9th floor, Building 1, MRTA head office, where Mr.Peerayudh Singpatanakul, MRTA Governor presided over the event and General Yodyuth Boonyatikarn, MRTA Chairman honorably attended the ceremony.            The event includes offering rice and dried food to 9 Buddhist monks from Thep Leela temple, pouring water to Buddha images and pouring water to MRTA chairman and Governor. It was well-organized and all MRTA employees were blessed for this Thai New year celebration.

Birthday Merit-making event in April 2016           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized a Birthday Merit-making event for MRTA employees born in April on Friday 29th April 2016. The event included donating money to Home for children with disability Pakkred (Nontapum House) and making merit at Borom Raja Kanchanapisek Anusorn Temple (Leng Noei Yi 2) in Nonthaburi Province.
MRTA attend MOT Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016 MRTA attend MOT Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016            Mr.Peerayudh Singpatanakul, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) attended Ministry of Transportation (MOT)’s Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016 at Nuannoradit Temple, Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok on Friday 11th November 2016 where Mr.Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transportation presided over the ceremony. MRTA also donated 100,000 baht in order to make a merit.
Bantayae School’s teachers and students visit M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line           Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) greeted the total number of 75 Bantayae School’s teachers and students from Kanchanaburi Province visiting and riding M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line. MRTA also took the visitors to see the exhibition of the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line Construction at Hua lamphong Station and to watch the demonstration of detection dogs from MRTA K-9 Team at Thailand Culture Center Station before taking them to Children Discovery Museum Bangkok.
MRTA Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016 at Hua Lamphong Temple MRTA Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016 at Hua Lamphong Temple            Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA Royal Kathin Ceremony 2016 on Monday 7th November 2016 at Hua Lamphong Temple where Mr. Peerayudh Singpatanakul, Governor presided over the ceremony. Gen.Yodyuth Boonyatikarn, Head of director also attended the ceremony along with MRTA executives and approximately 200 MRTA officers.             In conclusion, MRTA and people donated money in the ceremony totally 1,559,882 baht.
MRTA 9th flea market 2016 MRTA 9th flea market 2016            Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA 9th flea market 2016 on Thursday 7th July 2016 from 11.30 AM to 01.00 PM near cafeteria, Building 1, MRTA, where 10 of MRTA employees’ shops sold various goods such as food, beverage and cosmetics etc. The flea market was held monthly to enhance friendship between MRTA employees and also to help them increase their revenue and to provide a convenient place for shopping.

MRTA attends 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station celebration MRTA attends 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station celebration                Mr. Peerayudh Singpatanakul, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) honorably attended the opening ceremony of 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station celebration on Saturday 25th June 2016 at Bangkok Railway Station. The celebration was held by State Railway of Thailand (SRT) in order to celebrate 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station where Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister for economic affairs presided over the event.
