MRTA organizes Songkran Day activity of 2023 11 Apr. 66 Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over MRTA sacred objects homage paying ceremony and Buddhist chanting ceremony for prosperity on the occasion of Songkran Day activity of 2023 on Tuesday 11th April 2023 where MRTA executives and officers participated in the activity. In addition, there are pouring water on the governor hands ceremony and Thai folk song singing and dancing contest to promote Thai culture and strengthen relationship in organization. MRTA organizes Now for the Future activity under Green Office Project of 2023 26 Sep. 66 Miss Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of Corporate Communications presided over Now for the Future activity of 2023 on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at meeting room 2, 9th floor, building 1, MRTA. The activity was held to show the results of Green Office project of 2023 and publish the results of waste management in organization trial projects from 2nd Green Office Hero group. Therefore, the result of the Green Office project of 2023, MRTA selected 29 officers to be 2nd Green Office Hero Group being MRTA officers’ representatives to learn about waste management in organization from outside lecturer and organization and do 5 trial projects including 1. Changing plastic glass to Zero Waste glass and increasing personal glass usage 2. Adjusting bins for easily sorting and adding Zero Waste bin 3. Canceling plastic bags with circulate bags 4. MRTA supports Re – Life Recycle Project by Mirror Foundation. 24 May 66 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and Mirror Foundation organized 2 plastic waste drop-off points at park and ride buildings, M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line, Lat Phrao station and M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham line, Yaek Nonthaburi 1 station to support Re – Life Recycle Project to promote waste sorting to be homeless and elderly jobs. Whereas on 24th May 2023, Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, MRTA assistant and Mrs. Chutinat Kanchanasakul, Foundation’s Deputy Director jointly opened waste drop-off point at park and ride buildings, Lat Phrao station. MRTA supports Children Day activity of 2023 for schools and communities along the route of M.R.T. projects 11 Jan. 66 Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) contributed money and Alcohol gels to support Children Day activity of 2023 for 5 schools and communities along the route of M.R.T. projects including Praram 9 Kanchanapisek school, Wat Lannaboon school, Nonthaburi Province, Wat Putthiprangpramote school, Nonthaburi Province, Bueng Praram 9 Pattana Community Early Learning and Children Development Center and Bueng Praram 9 Pattana Community during 10th – 11th January 2023.

MRTA welcomes teachers and student from Nakhonnon Witthaya 2 School, Thinnakorn Nimit Temple to visit and ride M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham line. 27 Sep. 66 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) welcomed 96 teachers and kindergarten 1 - 3 students from Nakhonnon Witthaya 2 School, Thinnakorn Nimit Temple, Nonthaburi Province to visit and ride M.R.T. Chalong Ratchadham line from Ministry of Public Health station to Khlong Bang Phai station on Wednesday 27th September 2023 where MRTA and Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC officers were lecturer on MRT safety riding. MRTA organizes Community Safety Training for students from Wat Saket school. 27 Jun. 66 Miss Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of Corporate Communications of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over Community Safety Training for students from Wat Saket school which is a school along the route of MRT Purple line project: Tao Pun - Rat Burana (Kanchanaphisek Road) on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at Wat Saket school. The training was held by lecturers from Security and Rescue Department on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic fire extinguish topics to prepare students for real life situation. In this regard, MRTA also distributed 10 fire extinguishers to the school. At all events, MRTA has organized these training for communities along the route of MRT projects since 2014 to the present. MRTA participates in the opening ceremony of King Rama X Honoring exhibition, activity-related and Candle-lighting ceremony in occasion of H.M. birthday on 28th July 2023 28 Jul. 66 Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in the opening ceremony of King Rama X Honoring exhibition and an activity honoring King Rama X in occasion of H.M. birthday on 28th July 2023 in front of Ministry of Transport (MOT) where Mr. Sorapong Paitoonphong, MOT Deputy Permanent Secretary presided over the ceremony. Later on, at 7.19 PM. Mr. Tanom also participate in Candle – lighting ceremony where Mr. Mr. Chayatan Phromsorn, MOT Permanent Secretary was presided over the ceremony. MRTA organizes MRTA Volunteer activity of 2023 at Rayong province. 25 May 66 Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA Volunteer activity of 2023 leading 104 MRTA officers to do Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities at Rayong province between 25th – 26th May 2023. The activities included mangrove planting, building crab condo and releasing crabs at Sky View Tower and Mangrove Research Center to preserve aquatic animals’ food sources and habitats and promote conservation and restoration of the environment. In addition, MRTA also built greenhouse and vegetables plots and shared school stationary for students from Watthammasathit school.
