MRTA organizes Community Safety Training for students from Bangkapi school.
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of
Thailand (MRTA) organized Community Safety Training for students from Bangkapi
school which is a school along the route of MRT Orange line project: Thailand
Cultural Centre – Min Buri (Suwinthawong) on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at
Bangkapi school. The training was held by lecturers from Security and Rescue
Department on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic fire extinguish
topics to prepare students for real life situation. In this regard, MRTA also
distributed 10 fire extinguishers to the school.
At all events, MRTA has organized
these training for communities along the route of MRT projects since 2014 to
the present.

Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) congratulated Office of the National Anti - Corruption Commission (NACC) on the occasion of 24th establishment
anniversary on Friday 17th November 2023 at NACC’s office. In this
regard, MRTA contributed to Phranangklao Hospital Foundation where Mr. Niwatchai
Kasemmongkol, NACC’s Secretary - General was a receiver.

Mrs. Montira Laksanasirisak, Director of Office of the
Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)participated in Buddhist Chanting ceremony and gave
congratulatory flower vase to Rail Technology Research and Development Agency (RTRDA)
on the occasion of 2nd establishment anniversary on Friday 14th
July 2023 at KX Knowledge Exchange for Innovation building where
Mr. Chotchai Charoenngam, RTRDA chairman was a receiver.

MRTA organizes Now for the Future activity under Green Office Project of 2023
Miss Jirata Wattanapradit, Director of Office of
Corporate Communications presided over Now for the Future activity of 2023 on
Tuesday 26th September 2023 at meeting room 2, 9th floor,
building 1, MRTA. The activity was held to show the results of Green Office
project of 2023 and publish the results of waste management in organization
trial projects from 2nd Green Office Hero group. Therefore, the result of the Green
Office project of 2023, MRTA selected 29 officers to be 2nd Green
Office Hero Group being MRTA officers’ representatives to learn about waste
management in organization from outside lecturer and organization and do 5
trial projects including 1. Changing plastic glass to Zero Waste glass and
increasing personal glass usage 2.
Adjusting bins for easily sorting and adding Zero Waste bin 3. Canceling
plastic bags with circulate bags 4. Zero Waste glass’s utility and.....

MRTA participates in MOT’s giving alms activity in occasion of New Year Day 2023
Mr. Tanom Rattanasate, Assistant Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in Ministry of Transport (MOT)’s giving alms activity and paid homage to MOT’s Buddha statue on the occasion of New Year Day 2023 on Wednesday 4th January 2023 at MOT office where Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport presided over and led MOT’s executives and head of organizations under to participate in the activity.

of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in Office of Prime Minister (OPM)’s Royal Kathina ceremony of 2023 at Rajphatikaram temple on
Wednesday 22nd November 2023 where Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime
Minister and Minister of Finance presided over the ceremony.

Foundation for disabilities children and needy people’s

96 teachers and kindergarten 1 - 3 students from Nakhonnon Witthaya 2 School,
Thinnakorn Nimit Temple, Nonthaburi Province to visit and ride M.R.T. Chalong
Ratchadham line from Ministry of Public Health station to Khlong
Bang Phai station on Wednesday 27th September 2023 where MRTA and
Bangkok Expressway and Metro PLC officers were lecturer on MRT safety
riding.

MRTA supports Re – Life Recycle Project by Mirror Foundation.
Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
and Mirror Foundation organized 2 plastic waste drop-off points at park and ride
buildings, M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line, Lat Phrao station and M.R.T. Chalong
Ratchadham line, Yaek Nonthaburi 1 station to support Re – Life Recycle Project
to promote waste sorting to be homeless and elderly jobs. Whereas on 24th May 2023, Mr.
Tanom Rattanasate, MRTA assistant and Mrs. Chutinat Kanchanasakul, Foundation’s
Deputy Director jointly opened waste drop-off point at park and ride buildings, Lat Phrao station.
At all events, M.R.T. passengers and
general public could bring plastic waste to join the project from 24th
May 2023 onwards.

MRTA organizes Royal Kathina ceremony of 2023 at Lak Si temple
Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of Mass Rapid
Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided
over MRTA Royal Kathina ceremony of 2023 at Lak Si temple on Monday 27th
November 2023 where 180 MRTA executives and officers join in the ceremony. In
this regard, MRTA, business partners and people donated money to the temple
totally 2,115,005.14 Baht.

MRTA organizes Green Office Hero activity of 2023

Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
organized Green Office Hero activity of 2023 leading a
group of chosen officers to be ‘Green Office Hero’ to learn about waste
management in organization, energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction from
Chula Zero Waste project under Physical Resources Management Office,
Chulalongkorn University on 19th July 2023 and
to learn how to make value from waste materials in organization from Wishulada,
social enterprise artist and visit Qualy Design Space to explore how to
transform waste material to new products between 24th – 25th
July 2023.
At all event, Green Office Hero will
use knowledge acquired to do demonstration project on waste management in MRTA
and present it on Now for the Future exhibition onward.
