MRTA organizes Community Safety Training for students from Bangkapi school.
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of
Thailand (MRTA) organized Community Safety Training for students from Bangkapi
school which is a school along the route of MRT Orange line project: Thailand
Cultural Centre – Min Buri (Suwinthawong) on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at
Bangkapi school. The training was held by lecturers from Security and Rescue
Department on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic fire extinguish
topics to prepare students for real life situation. In this regard, MRTA also
distributed 10 fire extinguishers to the school.
At all events, MRTA has organized
these training for communities along the route of MRT projects since 2014 to
the present.

MRTA participates in signing the book of blessing to the Queen Mother in occasion of HM birthday of 2023
Mrs.
Natamon Bunnak, Deputy Governor (Finance) on
behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) participated in signing the book of blessing to the Queen
Mother in occasion of HM birthday of 2023 on Saturday 12th August
2023 at Sahathai Samakom Pavilion, Grand Palace where Mr. Chayatan Promsorn,
Permanent Secretary of Transport led heads of organizations under to
participate.

MRTA organizes Giving Alms activity of June 2023.
Mrs. Natamon Bunnak, Deputy Governor (Finance) on
behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) presided over Giving Alms activity of June 2023 on Friday 9th
June 2023 at main lobby, 1st floor, building 1, MRTA head office
where MRTA invited 9 Buddhist monks from Praram 9 Kanchanapisek temple to have
breakfast and receive alms from MRTA executives, officers and employees.

Mrs. Montira Laksanasirisak, Director of Office of the
Governor on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)participated in Buddhist Chanting ceremony and gave
congratulatory flower vase to Rail Technology Research and Development Agency (RTRDA)
on the occasion of 2nd establishment anniversary on Friday 14th
July 2023 at KX Knowledge Exchange for Innovation building where
Mr. Chotchai Charoenngam, RTRDA chairman was a receiver.

MRTA supports Re – Life Recycle Project by Mirror Foundation.
Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
and Mirror Foundation organized 2 plastic waste drop-off points at park and ride
buildings, M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon line, Lat Phrao station and M.R.T. Chalong
Ratchadham line, Yaek Nonthaburi 1 station to support Re – Life Recycle Project
to promote waste sorting to be homeless and elderly jobs. Whereas on 24th May 2023, Mr.
Tanom Rattanasate, MRTA assistant and Mrs. Chutinat Kanchanasakul, Foundation’s
Deputy Director jointly opened waste drop-off point at park and ride buildings, Lat Phrao station.
At all events, M.R.T. passengers and
general public could bring plastic waste to join the project from 24th
May 2023 onwards.

MRTA participates in 45th State Enterprise Games (Year 2023)
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) sent MRTA athletes to participate in 45th State
Enterprise Games (Year 2023) between
22nd February – 3rd March 2023 where MRTA athletes
competing in 6 sports including basketball, football, futsal, golf, cycling and
track and field. The result of competition included 1. track and field got 5
silver medals and 3 bronze medals 2. basketball finished at 8th place
3. football (general and VIP category) and 4. futsal finished at qualifying round 5. Golf finished at
18th place and 6. cycling received 9th place from
mountain bike racing for men 50 years old up.
Therefore, MRTA send
athletes to participate in State Enterprise Games every year to encourage
playing sports and strengthen relationship between MRTA and other state
enterprises.

MRTA congratulates DRT on the occasion of 4th establishment anniversary.
Mr. Surapong Rattanaphuwalux, Director of Office of Internal Audit on behalf of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
congratulated Department of Rail Transport (DRT) on the occasion of 4th
establishment anniversary on Friday 9th June 2023 at Na Talang
building, DRT. In this regard, MRTA contributed to DRT fund for public charity
and DRT’s personnel’s welfare where Mr. Pichet
Kunathammarak. DRT Director-General was a receiver.

Transport participated in phan bush – laying ceremony for Statue of Prince
Damrongrachanupap on the occasion of Ministry of Interior (MOI) establishment anniversary on Saturday 1st April
2023 at MOI office.

MRTA organizes MRTA Volunteer activity of 2023 at Rayong province.
Mass Rapid Transit Authority of
Thailand (MRTA) organized MRTA
Volunteer activity of 2023 leading 104 MRTA officers to do Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) activities at
Rayong province between 25th – 26th May 2023. The
activities included mangrove planting, building crab condo and releasing crabs
at Sky View Tower and Mangrove Research Center to preserve aquatic animals’
food sources and habitats and promote conservation and restoration of the
environment. In addition, MRTA also built greenhouse and vegetables plots and
shared school stationary for students from Watthammasathit school.
Therefore, MRTA continuously
organizes MRTA Volunteers activities for 4 years to promote CSR conscious for officers.

MRTA organizes Green Office Hero activity of 2023
Mass
Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)
organized Green Office Hero activity of 2023 leading a
group of chosen officers to be ‘Green Office Hero’ to learn about waste
management in organization, energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction from
Chula Zero Waste project under Physical Resources Management Office,
Chulalongkorn University on 19th July 2023 and
to learn how to make value from waste materials in organization from Wishulada,
social enterprise artist and visit Qualy Design Space to explore how to
transform waste material to new products between 24th – 25th
July 2023.
At all event, Green Office Hero will
use knowledge acquired to do demonstration project on waste management in MRTA
and present it on Now for the Future exhibition onward.
