On April 29, 2025, Mr. Kitti Akewanlop, Assistant Governor of Mass Rapid Transit
Authority of Thailand (MRTA), on behalf of MRTA, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Quanchai Leepowpanth, 2nd Vice President of the Council of Engineers, and management team from the Council on a study visit to the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line and the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun - Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section of MRTA.

On this occasion, the group attended a presentation on the MRT project and visited the actual operation inside the operation control center of the M.R.T. Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line. Then, they visited the Parliament House Station (PP17) of the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun - Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section to see the progress of the project's construction and exchange knowledge on technology and innovation in rail engineering, which will be beneficial to the development of future MRT projects.
