MRTA will open Ratchayothin Underpass this October, 3 months ahead of schedule

On September 26, 2018, Mr. Pairin Chuchotethavorn, Deputy Minister of Transport inspected the construction progress of the Ratchayothin Underpass and the 11th Infantry Regiment Station which are part of the MRT Green Line Project: Mochit – Saphan Mai – Khu Khot Section, welcoming by Mr. Pakapong Sirikantaramas, Governor of MRTA, executives team of MRTA, the project consultants, and 4 contractors of the project  at the Ratchayothin Underpass construction site on Ratchadaphisek Road, Chatuchak District, Bangkok. MRTA has been expediting the construction of the MRT Green Line Project: Mo Chit – Saphan Mai – Khu Khot Section and the underpass until the underpass construction progress as at September 15 reaches to 83.33%.           The underpass will be opened this October, taking only 21 months to complete          or 3 months ahead of schedule, in accordance with the policy of the government         and Ministry of Transport on accelerating the implementation of the project to       mitigate traffic congestion on Bangkok’s inner ring roads, Phahon Yothin Road and Ratchadaphisek Road for facilitating commuters.
